First trailer for “Neuromancer” series based on William Gibson’s novel released

The network hosted the release of the debut trailer of the series “Neuromancer.” (Neuromancer). The project is a direct adaptation of the cult novel by William Gibson, who formulated the key canons of the cyberpunk genre.

Cult heritage and influence on genre

The original work of Gibson laid the fundamental elements of modern fiction: stories about hackers, all-powerful megacorporations, virtual space, biomechanical implants and the gloomy megacities of the future.

The ideas of Neuromancer formed the basis for many subsequent works in pop culture. Without Gibson’s novel, there would be no franchises like video games. Cyberpunk 2077 and Deus Ex, as well as the key concepts of the film trilogy “The Matrix”.

Premiere date

The premiere of the series “Neuromancer” is scheduled for January 22, 2027.
