Cadillac Unveils World’s Only 655-HP Celestiq Night Test Priced at $400,000

Cadillac has unveiled an exclusive electric car, the Celestiq Night Test, built as a one-off by special order. The luxurious electric liftback was hand-assembled under the Curated By Cadillac customization program, features no chrome elements at all, and is valued at over $400,000.

The exclusive model made its public debut at Monterey Car Week. The one-off model’s body is finished in a deep dark blue shade called Caspia Tricoat Metallic. Instead of traditional chrome trim, the exterior features matte carbon fiber details, and the headlights are framed in Jade-colored bezels whose matte texture diffuses the light. The car rides on 23-inch dark wheels with a thin jade accent.

Interior and Features

The interior is upholstered in natural leather in a contrasting two-tone scheme — charcoal black (Backen Black) and pearl gray (Sheer Gray). Instead of wood, the trim uses matte carbon fiber and deeply textured brushed metal accents.

A 55-inch digital display spans the entire dashboard. The audio system is a premium AKG Studio Reference setup with 42 speakers for immersive sound.

Specifications

The Celestiq Night Test’s dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces 655 hp. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and the range on a single charge is about 488 km.

The one-off electric car was assembled at the Artisan Center technical facility in Michigan. While the standard Celestiq starts at $340,000, the exclusive Night Test trim cost the customer over $400,000.
