Aston Martin Unveils 850-HP Valen Supercar Powered by V12 Engine

British automaker Aston Martin has officially unveiled the Valen supercar. Featuring a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, the new model produces 850 hp, making it the most powerful production front-engine car in the brand’s history.

The powertrain delivers 1,000 Nm of torque and is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission tuned using software algorithms from the Vantage GT4 race car. Estimated acceleration to 97 km/h (60 mph) takes 3.0 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 345 km/h. Drive is strictly rear-wheel.

Carbon Fiber Panels and Weight Reduction

According to Aston Martin’s press service, engineers managed to reduce overall weight by 110 kg compared to the standard V12 platform. All exterior body panels are made of carbon fiber, saving 25 kg, while a titanium exhaust system cut weight by another 14.8 kg. The four exhaust tailpipes are 3D-printed: two upper sections operate continuously, while two lower sections are engaged via electronically controlled valves in sport modes.

The car features 21-inch magnesium wheels that reduce unsprung mass by 6 kg, carbon-ceramic brakes (410 mm front and 360 mm rear), and Pirelli P Zero R tires with Cyber Tyre telemetry sensors. The rear window has been replaced with a solid panel, with visibility provided by a digital rearview camera while maintaining a 170-liter cargo capacity.

The interior comes standard with Sports Plus seats, which can be optionally replaced with lightweight carbon fiber equivalents. The Aston Martin Valen is limited to 150 units, with initial customer deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
