Comedy Stealth Game We Are So Cooked Launches October 15 with 4-Player Co-Op Body Removal

Indie developer Dwarven Brothers and publisher 1312 Interactive have released a new trailer and announced the official launch date for viral co-op stealth action game We Are So Cooked. The title, in which a team of one to four players must frantically hide an accidentally killed person and carry the heavy body past patrols, launches on Steam on October 15, 2026, featuring Russian text support.
Ragdoll Physics and Blood Trails
Gameplay centers on complex physics simulation of awkward cargo. Hauling a corpse alone slows the character down and leaves a visible trail of blood that immediately draws attention from bystanders.
As noted on the Steam page for We Are So Cooked, carrying a body together requires precise team coordination: players can grab different limbs at the same time, though uncoordinated movements can easily cause the body to tumble down stairs, creating noise and smashing vases.
Panicked Guests, Surveillance Cameras, and Guard Dogs
The environment dynamically reacts to player actions:
- Civilian witnesses: Maids and guests scream hysterically upon seeing a body, instantly alerting nearby guards;
- Cameras and patrols: Surveillance systems monitor corridors, forcing players to find blind spots;
- Guard dogs: K-9 units track scents and can detect a body hidden inside a locker;
- Secret bunkers: In addition to luxury hotels, the game features fortified government facilities with elite patrol officers (Marshal).
Wheelchair Disguises and Role Allocation
Players have no firearms at their disposal and must survive using whatever is at hand. The body can be placed in a wheelchair with sunglasses and wheeled past the reception desk, while bloodstains must be quickly wiped away with a mop.
Game mechanics prevent players from carrying an item and dragging a body at the same time, requiring the four-player team to split duties: two haul the victim, a third distracts guards with squeaky rubber toys, and the fourth mops the floor and unlocks doors.
560,000 Wishlists and Modest System Requirements
As Kotaku notes, the project became a viral hit during its initial teasers on social media. According to co-developer Outlier Games, Steam wishlists have surpassed 560,000 users.
According to the SteamDB database, the game has low hardware requirements:
- Minimum: Intel Core i5-6600 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card, and 8GB RAM;
- Recommended: Intel Core i7-8700 processor, GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, and 8GB RAM;
- Storage: A modest 5GB.
In case you missed it blowing up on social media, We Are So Cooked is a 1-4 player co-op physics-stealth game where the objective is simple: get the body to the exit. The execution? That’s the hard part.@1312interactive pic.twitter.com/z7MjkeUdzs
