Global box office grosses for the blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day have reached $1.7 billion. The film has entered the top ten highest-grossing movies in history and maintains its position at the top of the international box office for the second consecutive week.
The movie surpassed the animated feature Inside Out 2 at the box office. Film market analysts do not rule out that, given current box office momentum, the movie could climb into the top three globally, trailing only Avatar and Avengers: Endgame. Unofficial screenings in Russian theaters are scheduled to begin on August 20.
