Solo Leveling Comes to Minecraft: OVERLOAD Modpack Adds Hunter Ranks, Boss Gates, and 180 Quests

A massive new modpack for Minecraft, Solo Leveling – OVERLOAD, draws inspiration from the popular manhwa and anime “Solo Leveling.” The pack transforms the standard sandbox into a full-fledged RPG, featuring a ranking system from E to S, dangerous raid dungeons, a skill tree, and over 180 story quests.
From E-Rank to S-Rank: Hunter Progression
The gameplay is built around the classic hierarchy of the Solo Leveling universe. You start as a weak hunter and gradually level up your status:
E → D → C → B → A → S
As your rank increases, you gain access to higher-tier gates—spatial rifts filled with elite monsters and valuable artifacts. The higher the portal’s rank, the tougher the survival conditions and the stronger the final bosses.
180 Quests and Over 320 Mods
According to the official CurseForge page, the pack by creator ProFake brings together over 320 interconnected mods into a single ecosystem:
- Quest chain: more than 180 quests in the FTB Quests system, guiding your progression from starting gear to endgame;
- Magic and abilities: integration of Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks with dozens of spells and combat scrolls;
- Stat progression: a skill tree for passive and active abilities based on Pufferfish’s Skills and the Apotheosis system;
- World generation: new biomes and monumental structures from Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone and Additional Structures.
The hardcore mod L_Ender’s Cataclysm handles complex boss battles, adding multi-phase fights with unique attack patterns, while the Alex’s Mobs pack expands the variety of creatures.
Guild Co-op and Technical Details
The modpack is optimized for co-op play from the start: the author has prepared separate server files that let you form hunter groups for joint raids into the gates.
The pack is built for Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 using the Forge loader. According to the changelog for version 1.0.8, the project has received optimization patches for key libraries (ModernFix, Botania, JourneyMap), and the pack has been downloaded over 25,000 times.
