Xbox Reveals New October Game Pass Wave — Battlefield 6, Neon Abyss 2 and Seven More Games Coming

Microsoft unveiled the next wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for October. Nine games will join the catalog by mid-month, with Battlefield 6 as the headline addition, arriving on the service October 13.
The first batch lands October 8. Echo Weaver, Forever Ago and Neon Abyss 2 will be added to Game Pass. Echo Weaver is a Metroidvania built around a time loop and world exploration, Forever Ago is a narrative journey with photography, and Neon Abyss 2 continues the formula of a fast-paced roguelike platformer.
Echo Weaver and Forever Ago will launch on Game Pass day one. Neon Abyss 2 will leave early access the same day and reach version 1.0.
Battlefield 6 Arrives October 13
The next major update is set for October 13. That day, subscribers will get access to Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis.
Battlefield 6 will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Ultimate subscribers also get EA Play-related bonuses and a 10% discount on eligible EA digital purchases.
Debuting alongside it is Valor Mortis, a dark first-person action game with soulslike elements from the creators of Ghostrunner. The protagonist is a resurrected soldier of Napoleon’s army fighting supernatural enemies.
Deep Dish Dungeon, meanwhile, combines dungeon exploration, crafting and Metroidvania elements, and supports single-player and online co-op.
On October 15, the family-friendly Bluey’s Happy Snaps and the co-op roguelike Chained Beasts join the service. Another announced title, the city-builder Beyond These Stars, will launch on PC Game Pass October 16, not the 15th.
Nine Games Leaving the Catalog
At the same time, Microsoft confirmed the list of titles leaving Game Pass on October 15:

- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Crime Scene Cleaner
- Donut County
- Evil West
- Nova Roma
- Pacific Drive
- Superball
- The Casting of Frank Stone
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and A Plague Tale: Requiem stand out among the departures. Before they leave the catalog, subscribers can still buy available games at the Game Pass discount and keep them in their library.
All in all, the October update brings several day-one premieres and one of the month’s biggest games in Battlefield 6, but the service loses nine titles in return.
