Focker-In-Law Trailer: Robert De Niro Puts Ariana Grande on Lie Detector

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Focker-In-Law, the fourth installment in the beloved Meet the Parents franchise. Sixteen years after Meet the Fockers 2, the star-studded cast is back in full force, with singer and actress Ariana Grande joining as the franchise’s newest addition.
The story centers on Greg and Pam’s grown-up son, Henry, who decides to marry his girlfriend Olivia (Ariana Grande). Olivia turns out to be more than just the perfect fiancée—she’s a former FBI hostage negotiator. Following family tradition, ex-CIA agent Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) subjects his future daughter-in-law to a lie detector test, while Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) tries to uncover what the seemingly ideal candidate is hiding.
The Return of a Legendary Cast
In addition to Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner reprise their roles. The Fockers’ now-adult children are played by Skyler Gisondo and Bini Felstein, joined by comedian Eduardo Franco.
John Hamburg, who wrote all three previous films in the series, serves as both director and screenwriter.
According to the official Universal Pictures website, the Focker-In-Law synopsis promises a classic generational comedy clash and heightened paranoia for the family patriarch.
The film is set for an international theatrical release on November 25, 2026.
