Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Returns in 2027 — Teaser Unveiled for Season 3 Part 2

Part 2 of Season 3 of the anime Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will officially arrive in 2027. The announcement came right after the first cour wrapped, along with a short teaser featuring the Dragon God Orsted.

The first half of Season 3 ended with Episode 14, “Resolve,” which aired on September 27. An exact return date has not been announced yet — only 2027 has been confirmed.

In the official announcement, the creators specifically highlight the upcoming confrontation between Rudeus and Orsted.

New Teaser Focuses on Orsted

The Part 2 clip centers on the Dragon God Orsted, one of the most powerful characters in the Mushoku Tensei universe.

The teaser uses new images of the character and a line recorded specifically for it by Kenjiro Tsuda, who voices Orsted in the anime. The creators describe the video directly as a hint at the “deadly battle” that will unfold in the second half of the season.

Preparation for that clash began in the first cour’s finale. After the events involving Rudeus’s future diary, Hitogami forces the hero to make a choice that sends the story straight toward a new confrontation with Orsted.

Part 2 will therefore continue one of Season 3’s key storylines with virtually no change in direction.

First Cour Ends at Episode 14

Season 3 of Mushoku Tensei premiered in summer 2026 and wrapped its first part with 14 episodes. The first cour’s finale is already available on Crunchyroll.

Studio Bind continues to produce the anime. Ryosuke Shibuya, who previously worked on Part 2 of the previous season, directed Season 3.

How many episodes Part 2 will have has not been announced. It is also unknown whether the continuation will arrive in early, mid, or late 2027.

The fact that the series will continue has already been officially confirmed: Season 3 did not end at Episode 14 and will return with Part 2 next year.

Judging by the first teaser, the centerpiece of the continuation will be Rudeus’s encounter with Orsted — one of the most important storylines in this part of the original light novels.
