New GTA 6 Leak Shows Vice City Beach With Hundreds of NPCs: Crowd Density Matches First Trailer

A thirteenth gameplay clip of Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced online, featuring protagonist Jason exploring the Vice City coastline by bike and on foot. The leaked footage confirms that Rockstar Games has maintained the massive crowd density of hundreds of interactive characters previously shown in the game’s debut trailer.

The scene has dispelled players’ concerns about a potential graphical downgrade for the final release.

A Living Open World and Diverse Character Models

Footage of the shoreline at night and sunset shows a coastline filled with hundreds of unique NPCs: beachgoers sunbathe on towels, stroll in groups, wade into the water, and take photos.

According to Kotaku, the crowd features a wide variety of body types, outfits, and skin tones. Characters react appropriately to the protagonist’s approach with voice lines and gestures, while the draw distance keeps silhouettes in view without popping up in front of the camera. The video also shows dynamic facial lighting from smartphone screens and physics-based water interactions with people standing in the shallows.

Unfinished Build Details and the Scale of Leaks

As Notebookcheck notes, the clip proves that the beach scene from the 2023 trailer was not a staged pre-render. However, the video shows minor technical flaws typical of an early build—such as delayed loading of accessories on some models and rough animations when interacting with sun loungers.

According to Forbes, over the past week, the total runtime of gameplay footage published by the CyberLeek group has exceeded 20 minutes, covering the airport, nightclubs, and city streets.

Official Presentation Set for August 27

The latest leak arrived just ahead of the full presentation of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, which takes place on August 27 on Netflix, followed by a release on YouTube.

The worldwide release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
