Oppo Unveils Find X10 Pro Max, the First Phone With Three 200MP Cameras

Oppo has unveiled its new flagship, the Find X10 Pro Max, in China. It is the first smartphone with three 200-megapixel rear cameras. The company is betting not only on high resolution but also on bringing the main, ultrawide and telephoto lenses close to parity in capability.

The main camera uses a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor in a 1/1.3-inch format, f/1.5 optics and CIPA 6.5 stabilization. According to Oppo, its DeepPix technology delivers up to 17 stops of dynamic range.

The ultrawide module is built around a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor and offers a 13mm equivalent focal length and a 124° field of view. The third sensor also has a 200MP resolution and sits behind a 70mm telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, f/2.1 and CIPA 7.5 stabilization.

All three cameras support 8K video and 8K Log recording at different focal lengths. As The Verge notes, resolution alone does not guarantee image quality, so the key question is how effectively Oppo can put three large sensors to use in real-world conditions.

The first flagship on the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro

The Find X10 Pro Max is one of the first smartphones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on TSMC’s 2nm N2P process.

The chip packs two C2-Ultra cores clocked at up to 4.55 GHz, six more performance cores and a G2-Ultra NX GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

According to Oppo, the processor delivers up to 17% more CPU performance and up to 61% better energy efficiency under multi-core loads than the previous generation. Graphics performance under sustained heavy load is up by roughly 27%. These are the manufacturer’s and MediaTek’s own figures, so independent testing is still to come.

The phone has a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 8,000 mAh, 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The body is protected against water and dust to standards up to IP69.

The Find X10 Pro Max runs ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 and comes in configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Global release already confirmed

Sales of the Find X10 Pro Max start in China on September 24. Oppo has not yet revealed an international launch date, but it has officially confirmed that the phone will eventually go on sale outside China as well.

At the same time, the company introduced the standard Find X10. It also gets an 8,000 mAh battery and two 200MP cameras, though its ultrawide module has a 50MP resolution.

So the Pro Max is the lineup’s main camera-phone highlight: it is the first smartphone whose three main rear modules all use 200MP sensors.
