Natus Vincere Counter-Strike 2 head coach Andrii “B1ad3” Horodenskyi revealed that the club actively negotiated targeted roster changes during the offseason. In an interview with HLTV, the coach explained why the team ultimately kept its current lineup.

According to the coach, NAVI management and staff analyzed the market and considered options to strengthen the team in order to get closer to Team Vitality’s level. The organization held substantive talks regarding several strong individual players, but the transfers fell through due to fierce competition from other clubs offering better financial terms.

After negotiations ended, the coaching staff considered keeping the current five-player roster to be the most sensible move. B1ad3 emphasized that their accumulated team experience and high synergy had already brought the squad two championship trophies last season, while the players themselves remain highly motivated for upcoming tournaments.
