The Witcher 3 Is Getting Massive Revenge of Ofir Story Expansion With New Region and Original Geralt Voice Actor

An international modding team has showcased the first gameplay look at The Witcher 3: Revenge of Ofir, a massive fan expansion. The unofficial expansion adds the Eastern-themed region of Hartz Zalir, a full 7–8 hour story campaign, and a Polish voiceover featuring the trilogy’s original voice actor.
The project is being developed using the official REDkit tools by an independent team of 26 specialists and is not directly affiliated with CD Projekt RED.
Story Continuation to Hearts of Stone and the Hartz Zalir Region
The mod’s events take place after the ending of the Blood and Wine expansion, with Geralt retired at the Corvo Bianco estate. The story is set in motion by the aftermath of Hearts of Stone: the slaying of the cursed Toad Prince has plunged the Kingdom of Ofir into a succession crisis. Lured into foreign lands under false pretenses, the Witcher gets drawn into a struggle for the throne.
Specifically for the expansion, the creators recreated the sandy region of Hartz Zalir, featuring Eastern architecture, oases, dynamic sandstorms, and new flora. Players can expect branching questlines with moral choices, Witcher contracts, new monsters, bosses, sets of Ofieri armor, and a fresh Gwent card.
Jacek Rozenek’s Involvement and Release
According to Wccftech, development on the project has been underway for about two years.
The team’s biggest highlight is a full Polish dub: as reported by PurePC, Jacek Rozenek has returned to voice Geralt — the iconic Polish voice of the White Wolf across all three mainline games. Localized subtitles will be available for English-speaking players.
The Witcher 3: Revenge of Ofir expansion will be available for free to PC owners of the game. The release is planned for 2027.
