McDonald’s and Xbox Launch Collaboration for Platform’s 25th Anniversary Featuring Fallout Food and Rewards for Six Games

Fast-food chain McDonald’s and gaming division Xbox have announced a major joint promotion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the console platform. Customers will be offered a themed menu inspired by iconic gaming universes alongside digital rewards for six popular Microsoft and Blizzard franchises.
As part of the crossover, real-world dishes inspired by games will arrive on the menu: the chain has already confirmed the launch of BlamCo Cheesy Potato Bites, based on the fictional food brand BlamCo from the Fallout universe.
Digital Rewards List and Side Missions Mechanics
According to IGN, purchasing promotional items through the mobile app as part of the interactive Side Missions system will allow users to unlock in-game content:
- Fallout 76: Sugar Bomb Bundle themed item set;
- World of Warcraft: exclusive Red Hot Portable Bakery cosmetic item;
- Overwatch: unique Kiriko emote Donut Break;
- Halo: Campaign Evolved: armor set for Master Chief;
- Forza Horizon 6: special voucher to claim a car;
- Candy Crush Saga: Booster Bundle in-game boost set.
The promotion will run from August 25 to September 28, 2026 at participating restaurants in the UK and Ireland. Details regarding the expansion of the anniversary campaign to other regions have not yet been disclosed.
