Marvel Studios and LEGO have released the official version of the first trailer for “Avengers: Doomsday”. The two-minute video recreates the original teaser frame-by-frame, replacing live-action actors and sets with minifigures and plastic brick builds.

The creators kept the original editing and audio track, including character dialogue and Robert Downey Jr.’s voice as Doctor Doom.

Detailed Scenes and Hidden Minifigures

The video recreates large-scale city destruction, scenes featuring the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, and an attack by giant Sentinel robots. According to Gizmodo, animators brightened the color palette compared to the original film to ensure the plastic textures and character figures do not get lost in night scenes.

As noted by Brick Fanatics, the video features minifigures of characters that have not yet been included in announced sets, such as new versions of Namor, Red Guardian, U.S. Agent, and Steve Rogers in civilian clothes.

LEGO Set Lineup and Movie Premiere

The video’s release kicks off the promotional campaign for the collaborative toy line. A collectible Doctor Doom bust will launch on September 1, 2026, with the main set release scheduled for October 4.

The largest set in the lineup — Epic Battle: Avengers Doomsday, featuring 846 pieces, a buildable Sentinel, and figures of Magneto, Thor, Nightcrawler, and Mr. Fantastic — will retail for $99.99.

Marvel emphasized that the video was created solely as promotional material, with no plans for a standalone feature-length LEGO movie based on “Doomsday.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, “Avengers: Doomsday” will premiere in theaters on December 18, 2026.
