Robert Pattinson has shared the first details from the set of ‘The Batman Part II’. In an interview with British GQ, the actor admitted that returning to the role of the Dark Knight is taking a noticeably heavier physical toll, especially when executing fight scenes.

As Pattinson told People, intense fights during filming require much more effort as he gets older:

“It’s cool. I definitely feel my age when I’m doing a lot of fighting. I’m literally like, ‘Holy shit, it’s so much harder than it used to be.’ But it’s really fun, and I’m sure the movie will turn out great.”

What We Know About the Sequel

Production on the second installment kicked off in London in the summer of 2026 under director Matt Reeves. Returning alongside Pattinson are Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred), and Colin Farrell (The Penguin). Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, and Brian Tyree Henry have also joined the cast.

The events of the sequel will unfold in a snow-covered Gotham a few weeks after the finale of ‘The Penguin’ series. The city is still grappling with the aftermath of the devastating flood orchestrated by the Riddler at the end of the first film, which will directly impact the balance of criminal power.

‘The Batman Part II’ is scheduled to hit theaters on February 18, 2028.
