Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 page appears on IMDb with the game listed as in production

A page for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, the next superhero action game from Insomniac Games, has appeared in the IMDb movie and video game database and on IMDbPro. The project is listed as In Production, and the entry reveals the first members of the production team.

According to IMDb’s listing, Bryan Intihar and Ryan Smith, who directed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, are again attached as directors. Yuri Lowenthal is officially listed for the role of Peter Parker, including voice work and motion capture.

The latest changes to the IMDbPro entry were made in early 2026, suggesting manual moderation rather than an automatically generated placeholder. A similar early IMDb leak previously happened with the second game in the series.

Insomniac Games release schedule

Insomniac Games has not officially commented on the page. The studio’s marketing efforts are currently focused on Marvel’s Wolverine, which is scheduled for release on September 15, 2026.

According to previously leaked studio roadmaps, Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is planned for a full release in 2028–2029. Before the third mainline entry, the developers are reportedly planning a standalone story spin-off, Marvel’s Venom, around 2027.

Characters and story setup

The third game is expected to introduce a new playable character, Silk (Cindy Moon), who was teased at the end of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The main antagonists of the game and the trilogy finale are expected to be Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) and the returning Doctor Octopus.
