Spotify официально подтвердил удаление ИИ-треков из рекомендаций и введёт плашку «ИИ-персонаж»

Streaming service Spotify has officially announced new policies regarding AI-generated content. Following numerous user complaints, the platform will begin labeling virtual artists with an “AI Persona” tag and will completely exclude them from personalized recommendation algorithms.

The company explained that the decision was based on user feedback, noting that listeners are unhappy to discover that a track they enjoyed was generated by artificial intelligence. Once the new rules take effect, such music will only be discoverable through direct search queries or by intentionally following an artist’s profile.

The official rollout of these changes is scheduled for mid-September. Before this deadline, creators who use neural networks to produce music or media files are required to notify the moderation team.

To identify violators, Spotify will utilize its own automated audio and visual content analysis tools. In the next phase, a reporting feature for suspicious tracks will also be made available to regular platform users.
