Ceer Unveils Saudi Arabia’s First Production EVs: EXOBOT Sedan and SUV

Saudi company Ceer has unveiled its first production EVs — the EXOBOT sedan and SUV. The brand was established by state investment fund PIF in partnership with Foxconn, with the vehicles set to be designed and built in Saudi Arabia.

One of the key features of both models is the Shahin Wing Doors — large upward-opening doors that replace both the front and rear doors on each side. There is no B-pillar between the seating rows, with structural rigidity handled by a reinforced body structure.

Underpinning the EXOBOT is an 800-volt architecture, a 112 kWh battery pack, and a tri-motor all-wheel-drive system. The initial First Edition delivers 850 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque: the sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, while the SUV reaches it in 2.9 seconds.

Claimed NEDC range is up to 670 km for the sedan and up to 560 km for the SUV. Charging the battery from 10 to 80% takes under 30 minutes. Full specs have been published on the official EXOBOT page.

Top Trims Will Offer Up to 1,111 HP

For more powerful variants, Ceer promises up to 1,111 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. In this setup, the sedan can accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds, while the SUV takes 2.4 seconds.

Top speed is rated at 250 km/h for the sedan and 210 km/h for the crossover.

Inside, the cabin features a 48-inch curved 8K display spanning the full width of the dashboard, an extra 10.4-inch screen, and a dedicated display for second-row passengers.

Also included are steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, air suspension, cameras replacing traditional side mirrors, and a voice assistant supporting both Arabic and English.

Saudi Development Powered by Foreign Tech

Ceer positions the EXOBOT as a Saudi-developed vehicle, though the project is built with input from international technology partners.

The company is a joint venture between PIF and Foxconn, and relies on licensed BMW component technologies in developing its vehicles. Ceer details the architecture and features of the models in its official EXOBOT announcement.

Sales of the EXOBOT are slated to begin in 2027, with pricing not yet announced. By 2030, Ceer plans to launch seven models across various segments with different powertrain options.
