CS2 Evolution Training Map Goes Viral on Steam Workshop, Offering Console-Free Bot and Aim Tuning

The Counter-Strike 2 community has taken notice of a new training map, Evolution Training | Training your aim skill, which quickly surged into the top trends of the Steam Workshop. A modder going by the handle “король” focused on maximum convenience for the training process: all bot behavior parameters, equipment changes, and engagement distances can be configured on the fly via an intuitive graphical interface right during the round.
On-the-fly customization and muscle memory training
The main advantage of Evolution Training is eliminating unnecessary hassle. Players no longer need to memorize dozens of console commands or restart local servers to change training conditions.
The in-game menu lets players seamlessly adjust all key range settings:
- Select any types of rifles, pistols, and submachine guns;
- Change enemy models and toggle Kevlar and helmets;
- Configure target behavior — from static figures to chaotic strafes imitating real-player counter-strafing;
- Add artificial cover, ramps, and crates to practice holding angles and vertical flicks.
This setup turns the map not only into a convenient tool for a quick five-minute warm-up before entering Premier competitive mode, but also into a dedicated platform for practicing micro-adjustments and recoil control.
Fact-checking viral claims and Steam availability
Fan communities quickly hailed the map as the “world’s first training range with such a menu,” but that claim isn’t accurate. In the Counter-Strike 2 Community Workshop, interactive option control via buttons and scoreboards has long been a standard, featuring in classics like Aim Botz for years as well as newer projects like Complete Training.
Evolution Training’s strength lies in its ergonomics: the creator stripped away visual clutter, streamlined the interface, and optimized wall geometry to prevent FPS drops when large numbers of bots respawn simultaneously.
The mod is available for free, and players can subscribe to Evolution Training on its official Steam Workshop page. Once subscribed, the map will download automatically into the client and appear under the custom game modes tab.
