The first teaser for the sci-fi series “Blade Runner 2099” has surfaced online. The project continues the famous film universe, with events set half a century after the finale of Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner 2049.”
A New World Order: Humans Are Second-Class Beings
The main premise revolves around a radical role reversal between humans and artificial humans (replicants):
- Rising and victory: Over the past 50 years, replicants have launched a full-scale uprising, emerged victorious, and completely seized power on the planet.
