Elden Ring Gets Major Tarnished Edition Update with Two New Classes and a New Area

The action RPG Elden Ring is getting a major update called Tarnished Edition. The update brings a new area to explore, additional gear, and two new starting classes.
New Starting Classes
With the update, the game will feature characters tailored to different playstyles:
- Heavy Knight: A class for fans of heavy armor. The character starts at level 10. The starting kit includes a powerful curved sword and a set of protective armor.
- Knight of Iduz: A fast melee warrior. Starts at level 7. The class equipment includes a new armor set, a shield, and a lightweight greatsword called Milady.
New Area “Iduz Region” and New Gear
The key content addition is a new area called Iduz Region. Exploring this territory will give players access to additional weapons and new gear.
Release Date and Platforms
The Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition update will launch on August 28. It will release simultaneously on all supported platforms.
