Premium Korean brand Genesis has officially revealed its flagship electric crossover, the Genesis GV90. Measuring around 5.3 meters long, the full-size SUV is the brand’s largest and most high-tech vehicle to date, equipped with a dual-motor powertrain generating 666 hp and a 123.5 kWh battery pack.

The model was developed to directly challenge world-class executive electric SUVs.

Neolun Coach Doors and Swiveling Seats

Special attention at the unveiling was given to the ultra-luxurious GV90 Neolun variant. According to Electrek, this edition features rear-hinged coach doors with no visible B-pillar. While parked, the front seats can rotate 180 degrees, turning the interior into a lounge space.

In the four-seat Executive Suite trim, the floor is lined with heated natural wood, while the cabin uses cashmere, real stone, and semi-aniline leather. The interior is further upgraded with a built-in refrigerator, a retractable 24.6-inch OLED display, a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a panoramic sunroof with six-zone adjustable transparency.

Powertrain, Rear-Wheel Steering, and Roof Airbag

The dual electric motors produce a combined 490 kW (around 666 hp). The 123.5 kWh traction battery delivers an estimated range of about 500 km, and at a 350 kW ultra-fast charging station, it recharges from 10 to 80% in 22 minutes.

The vehicle comes equipped with multi-chamber air suspension, electronically controlled differentials on both axles, and all-wheel steering with rear-wheel steering for urban maneuvering.

Highlighting its safety systems is the debut of a ceiling-mounted Roof Airbag, which deploys along the panoramic glass in the event of a rollover.

Estimated Pricing

According to Carscoops, official pricing will be announced closer to the start of series production. Industry analysts expect the base crossover to start in the $100,000–$120,000 range, while the exclusive Neolun edition with coach doors will cost significantly more.
