HMD Unveils Nokia 300 Charge Feature Phone with 3,700 mAh Battery and Power Bank Function

HMD has launched the Nokia 300 Charge feature phone, highlighted by a record-breaking 3,700 mAh battery for the ultra-budget category. Priced at around $35, the device offers up to 40 days of standby time and can double as a compact power bank to charge other electronics.

On average, traditional feature phone batteries range between 1,000 and 1,800 mAh, so the expanded power reserve significantly broadens the handset’s usability during trips and emergencies.

10W Reverse Charging and Universal Cable

A dedicated physical Out button sits on the side of the housing: pressing it triggers the phone to supply power to connected devices via USB-C at up to 10W. It can top up a smartphone, wireless earbuds, a GPS navigator, or a smartwatch.

The device comes bundled with a 4-in-1 universal cable featuring built-in adapters for USB-C, microUSB, and USB-A interfaces.

Removable Battery and High-Brightness Flashlight

According to HMD’s official specifications, the battery delivers up to 37.9 hours of continuous talk time. The power cell is removable, allowing users to swap it out manually beneath the detachable back cover. The handset weighs 138 grams and measures 14.94 mm thick.

An LED flashlight is built into the top edge, offering peak illumination four times higher than that of the budget Nokia 105. The phone features textured side rails for a secure grip, though HMD lists no official water or shock resistance ratings for the model.

Specs and 2G Network Limitation

The phone features a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels (QVGA), a Unisoc SC6531E processor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. Both RAM and internal storage stand at 4MB, while the device runs on the S30+ firmware. A basic 0.3MP camera is mounted on the rear.

According to The Insight Post, the model’s main limitation is its exclusive reliance on 2G cellular networks (GSM 900/1800 MHz) without 3G or 4G LTE support. It includes dual Mini-SIM slots.

The Nokia 300 Charge is available in Southeast Asian markets priced at roughly $35–$37 in black, sand, and dark green color options.
