New GTA 6 Footage Leaks: Car Theft via Key Cloning, Taser, and a 2025 Build

The Grand Theft Auto VI leak has continued: the group Cyberleek has released another batch of gameplay videos. We previously covered the first alleged GTA 6 gameplay video featuring basketball mechanics, and the new footage reveals nighttime shootouts, an advanced car theft system, and a 2025 song on the in-game radio.

Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed the authenticity of the videos, but the posts are being quickly blocked on social media following copyright complaints.

Key Cloning Theft and Trunk System

In one of the clips, protagonist Jason approaches a parked car, and a contextual prompt for cloning the electronic key appears on screen. As Kotaku notes, this suggests that stealing modern vehicles is more complex than the classic window-smashing approach.

The dashboard also shows a fuel gauge and an engine status indicator. In the trunk area, the interface displays a Loadout menu and inventory slots labeled Storage 0/4, confirming that players can store a limited set of weapons and items in their personal vehicle.

Taser, Trophy Clothing, and 6-Star Wanted Level

The new clips show a nighttime confrontation between the hero and a security guard: after a hand-to-hand fight, Jason picks up the enemy’s hat and puts it on, echoing the wardrobe mechanics from Red Dead Redemption 2. He also uses a taser to neutralize foes.

According to PC Gamer, the interface shows a six-star wanted level, with the police system separately tracking the hero’s clothing description, car model, and last known location. Hand-to-hand combat uses a stamina bar, and particularly brutal takedowns result in a negative reputation status.

2025 Music and Threats of Story Leaks

A key detail for dating the build is the soundtrack: the radio plays Sports car by Tate McRae, which was officially released on January 24, 2025. According to Push Square, this proves the leaked footage was captured from a relatively recent 2025 version of the game, not from old 2023 archives.

Cyberleek also shared a screenshot of a directory containing a file named “Lucia Ending”, threatening to release key story spoilers for the finale.

The leak comes just before the official showcase: on August 27, Rockstar Games will present Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, and the game is set to launch worldwide on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
