To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the cult psychological horror game Sally Face, developer Steve Gabry (Portable Moose) has released the debut trailer for its sequel, Sally Face 2. The game now has an official Steam store page and will follow an episodic release model via Early Access.

The sequel’s plot picks up immediately after the finale of the first game, following the main characters as they try to survive in a world plunged into darkness after the original’s events. The project will retain its recognizable 2D side-scrolling visual style featuring hand-drawn 1990s cartoon aesthetics, location exploration, and puzzle-solving.

Episodic Early Access and Chapter Structure

According to the project’s Steam page, Sally Face 2 will launch in Steam Early Access. The first available chapter will continue the sequential numbering of the original game, releasing under the title Episode Six.

All subsequent episodes will arrive as free content updates for the base game without requiring separate DLC purchases. The developer at Portable Moose plans to release all chapters and bring the game out of Early Access within one year. An exact release date for the first chapter has not yet been announced.
