Embracer Group has revealed the release window for the next game in Warhorse Studios’ medieval RPG series Kingdom Come. According to the company’s financial report, the project is scheduled to launch between April 1, 2027, and March 31, 2028.

Official documents refer to the project as the “next game in the Kingdom Come franchise” without a confirmed title or direct confirmation of the Deliverance III subtitle. According to GamesRadar+, development of the new entry will take significantly less time than the seven-year gap between the first two games in the series. Prokop Jirsa, who previously served as creative director on Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, will direct the project.

Warhorse’s Parallel Projects and Embracer’s Lineup

According to VGC, Czech developer Warhorse Studios is working on two large-scale projects simultaneously: alongside the new Kingdom Come title, the team is building an open-world RPG set in The Lord of the Rings universe.

During the same fiscal period (ending late March 2028), publisher Embracer Group plans to release two other major franchise sequels: the hack-and-slash game Darksiders 4 and the action-adventure title Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
