Free Tokokino Editor Turns Screenshots and Videos into Presentation Mockups

An open-source web service, Tokokino, is available for developers and designers looking to quickly create device mockups, style screenshots, and prepare short product demos. The browser-based, local-first editor allows users to export graphics at up to 8K resolution for free without watermarks.

The tool is designed for preparing visuals for documentation, websites, social media, and platforms like Product Hunt. Users can upload an image, a screen recording, or a website link, place the interface inside a device frame (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or browser window), and customize visual accents. By default, source files are processed locally on the user’s computer without requiring uploads to external servers.

Customization Tools and Export Formats

According to the Tokokino template catalog, the service’s library features over 100 Google Fonts, 106 3D decorative objects, gradient backgrounds, frosted glass effects, and ASCII textures.

Users can export static mockups at resolutions up to 8K, while animations and screen recordings can be saved in MP4, WebM, and GIF formats. The service requires no mandatory registration for local editing and supports offline operation as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
