Dubai Police have added a custom Ferrari 812 Superfast built by German tuning house Mansory to their fleet of exotic patrol cars. The 800-hp supercar made its debut at the Arabian Travel Market trade show at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It is the emirate’s fifth joint project with the Bavarian modification specialists.

A Naturally Aspirated V12 and a 345 km/h Top Speed

Under the hood, the Italian coupe keeps its classic 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12. According to an official report by the WAM news agency, Mansory specialists optimized the engine control unit and exhaust system, bringing total output to 800 horsepower.

The car’s performance figures match those of track racers:

  • 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.8 seconds;
  • Top speed is recorded at 345 km/h;
  • The body features an extensive aerodynamic kit made of forged carbon fiber and wears the canonical white-and-green patrol livery with concealed strobe lights.

Series production of the base Ferrari 812 Superfast in Maranello has already ended in favor of the new-generation 12Cilindri, so the tuner reworked a previous-generation car for the police special project.

Image and Tourism, Not Highway Chases

The ultrafast supercar is not intended for intercepting offenders or routine arrests. As the Emirati outlet Gulf News notes, Dubai Police’s elite unit primarily serves ceremonial and tourism functions.

The car will be assigned to the megacity’s landmark pedestrian areas: the JBR beachfront, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and the plaza at the foot of the Burj Khalifa.

The presence of unique hypercars on the streets has long been a hallmark of the emirate, helping attract tourists and reinforce Dubai’s status as the world’s luxury capital.
