Minecraft Gets Massive The Division Mod With a Cyberpunk Dimension, Bosses and 240+ Items

A large-scale mod called The Division is in development for Minecraft Java Edition, adding two new dimensions, its own bosses, more than 240 items, new structures and a storyline about the clash between creation and destruction. The project is being built almost entirely by a single developer going by the handle satan.csproj.
That said, calling The Division brand new isn’t quite accurate: its first alpha appeared several months ago. The current version is 1.0.3.2, updated in September 2026, and the author estimates the project is about 55% complete.
The mod requires Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 and the Fabric loader. It can be downloaded via Modrinth and CurseForge.
A cyberpunk city over 90 blocks tall

One of The Division’s main features is the Nexus dimension – a vast cybernetic world with procedurally generated futuristic structures.
The author says some buildings exceed 90 blocks in height. Because of their size, Minecraft’s standard Jigsaw system wasn’t enough, so the developer had to implement the generation of large structures through a custom Java structure class.
The mod currently includes more than 10 structures and over 240 items. The developer has also confirmed four implemented bosses, each tied to progression and specific locations.
Besides Nexus, there’s a second dimension – The Beginning. It’s a distorted world with a pale blue black hole in the sky and endless yellow plains around a lone withered tree.
Ores, armor and two legendary swords

The Division also significantly expands Minecraft’s regular equipment system. It adds new ores and full armor sets made from ruby, emerald, lapis lazuli, titanium, cobalt and other materials.
A separate part of the progression revolves around two opposing swords – a weapon of destruction and death and its counterpart tied to creation and life. The mod’s main story gradually unfolds around them.
Crafting and upgrading items uses a dedicated Nexus Reactor with its own interface and REI integration. In recent updates, the developer also added the Matter Reformulator – a special workbench that lets players increase weapon damage.
The project is still in alpha

Despite the amount of content, the project page warns outright that The Division remains an early alpha version.
Regular Overworld content is already considered playable, but Nexus and The Beginning are still being actively worked on. Bugs, unfinished mechanics and changes to existing elements are possible.
The author specifically emphasizes that he pays attention to optimization: according to him, the procedural Nexus is designed with relatively weak PCs in mind as well. The latest version 1.0.3.2 fixed world generation, item duplication and teleportation bugs, and reworked the balance of several bosses.
So The Division already offers an unusually large amount of content for a solo project, but for now it’s not a finished build but an actively evolving mod, with roughly half of what’s planned still in development.
