Dongfeng Unveils Premium Electric Crossover Voyah Passion S: 637 HP and Up to 740 km Range

Dongfeng has announced a new premium electric crossover, the Voyah Passion S, in China. The model combines a sleek body, a multimedia system from Huawei, and a 0-100 km/h sprint of 4.5 seconds.

According to CarNewsChina, the Voyah Passion S starts at 309,900 yuan (approximately $45,600) in the domestic market.

Exterior and Dimensions

The crossover features a low stance, a sleek silhouette with a pronounced front end, a long hood, and a smooth roofline. Slim LED light bars connect the front and rear lighting. The base trim includes aggressive bumpers, and a rear spoiler is available as an option.

Voyah Passion S dimensions:

• Length: 5050 mm;
• Width: 1998 mm;
• Height: 1656 mm;
• Wheelbase: 3000 mm.

Interior and Huawei Multimedia

The interior features a compact digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, and two 15.6-inch touchscreens. The multimedia system was developed by Huawei.

Standard equipment includes:

• A panoramic roof with adjustable tint;
• Three-zone climate control;
• Power-adjustable front seats with massage function;
• Heated and ventilated seats for all passengers;
• Automated parking and semi-autonomous driving assist;
• A 27-speaker audio system.

Powertrain and Performance

At launch, the Voyah Passion S is available in an all-wheel-drive configuration, with a more affordable version joining the lineup later:

• All-wheel drive (AWD): Output is 637 hp. The 0-100 km/h sprint takes 4.5 seconds. Range on a single charge is 700 km.
• Rear-wheel drive (RWD): Coming later, with 402 hp. Range reaches 740 km.

Both versions are equipped with the same 98 kWh battery pack.
