NVIDIA raises prices for all graphics cards with GDDR7 and GDDR6 memory: RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti already more expensive

NVIDIA has officially notified its partners of a price increase for graphics processing units (GPUs), as well as for GDDR6 and GDDR7 video memory chips. The vendor’s adjustment has already begun to impact the cost of graphics cards in retail stores.
Retail price hikes
The increase in wholesale costs for components has already been reflected in final price tags at some retail chains. At the moment, the following changes have been recorded:
- GeForce RTX 5060: price increased by approximately $55.
- GeForce RTX 5060 Ti: price increased by approximately $77.
Market consequences
The cost increase will affect the entire lineup of graphics cards using GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory types. Rising manufacturer expenses for GPUs and memory chips will inevitably lead to further increases in retail prices for graphics accelerators for end consumers.
