Paramount+ has officially launched Season 2 of its crime drama MobLand. The star-studded cast led by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren returns to their roles in the story of the decline and fall of the Harrigan crime empire.

The Harrigans Under Pressure

In Season 2, which consists of 10 episodes, the Harrigan family faces a new wave of internal destabilization. According to Paramount’s official press release, the positions of Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and Maeve (Helen Mirren) have been shaken by the pressure of young, ambitious rivals, while the clan’s chief fixer Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy, finds himself caught between two fires as he tries to preserve what’s left of the family’s influence.

Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond join the core cast, which includes Paddy Considine and Joanne Froggatt, in Season 2. Janet McTeer and Toby Jones also appear, with their characters adding new intrigue to an already tangled criminal hierarchy.

Despite Guy Ritchie’s active involvement as an executive producer, the project is not purely his own work — the series was created by writer Ronan Bennett and produced by Paramount Television together with 101 Studios.

A Look Ahead and the Release Schedule

The show’s success is confirmed by the platform’s long-term plans: even before Season 2 premiered, Paramount+ leadership officially renewed MobLand for a third season. That decision put to rest numerous tabloid rumors that Tom Hardy might leave the project.

Season 2 broadcast schedule:

  • The premiere took place on September 18;
  • New episodes will air weekly on Fridays;
  • The finale of the 10-episode season will air on November 20, 2026.

All episodes are available to Paramount+ subscribers immediately after their television premiere.
