Razer unveils the Naga V3 Pro gaming mouse: 23 buttons, 50,000 DPI sensor, and a ring finger key

Razer has released its flagship wireless mouse, the Naga V3 Pro. The main new feature is the return of a dedicated third button for the ring finger, bringing the total number of programmable keys on the device to 23, including the swappable side plates.
In the third generation of the Naga series, developers have brought back the ring finger button, equipping it with a physical lock on the bottom of the device. If the key is not in use, it can be hardware-locked to serve as a finger rest. Using the Razer Synapse 4 software, this button can be configured as a Hypershift modifier, which, when held down, completely changes the layout of the 12 side buttons and doubles the number of available commands.
The numbers on the swappable panels are now double-shot molded to prevent wear. Additionally, two extra quick-access keys have been added next to the left mouse button, which are set to DPI sensitivity adjustment by default.

Technical specifications and weight reduction
Engineers have significantly updated the device’s hardware:
- Optical sensor: Razer Focus Pro 50K Gen-3 with up to 50,000 DPI resolution and Frame Sync technology, which synchronizes the sensor’s polling rate with the monitor’s refresh rate;
- Weight: The device’s weight has been reduced to 112–117 grams (depending on the panel) compared to 133 grams for the previous Naga V2 Pro;
- Switches: The main keys feature Razer Gen-4 optical switches with a 100-million-click lifespan and a 12% reduction in click force;
- Scroll wheel: HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 with 4 modes and the ability to automatically switch from tactile mode to free-spin when scrolling quickly.
The official retail price of the Razer Naga V3 Pro at launch is $179.99.
