Xiaomi has expanded its home appliance lineup with the launch of a cordless stick vacuum with wet mopping capability — the Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5C. The new model targets the budget segment but offers features typically found in more expensive devices.
Key specs and features
- Suction power: The claimed rating is 18,000 Pa, which allows it to effectively pick up both dry debris and spilled liquids.
- Anti-tangle protection: The roller is equipped with specialized combs that cut and prevent hair and pet fur from wrapping around it. The system has been certified by TÜV Rheinland.
- Self-cleaning and drying: When placed on the base station, the device automatically washes the rollers and dries them with hot air at 60°C. This prevents unpleasant odors and bacterial growth.
- Low noise level: According to the manufacturer, an optimized air duct system reduces operating noise to 50 dB.
- Battery life: The built-in battery provides up to 45 minutes of continuous operation on a single charge. The company claims this is enough to clean an area of up to 341 m².

At launch in China, the Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5C is priced at around $130. The manufacturer has not yet announced when a global version will be available or what it will cost internationally.
