Google Releases Gemini 3.7 Flash: 50% Price Cut and Superior Coding Performance

Google announced the launch of its Gemini 3.7 Flash language model—just three weeks after releasing version 3.6 Flash. The new model is 50% cheaper than its predecessor, optimized for programming, and already available to developers in Google AI Studio.
The AI model focuses on writing code, processing large documents, and analytical calculations. According to the developers, it speeds up app prototyping, website generation, and automated creation of work presentations.
Benchmark Performance
In software development and complex task automation tests, Gemini 3.7 Flash outperformed competitors, including Anthropic’s Sonnet 5 and OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Terra models.
Google recommends using the new version as a cost-effective and fast tool for educational and professional scenarios that require high generation speed at low API costs.
