A new web service called DejaView has launched online, designed to stress-test startup ideas. The tool uses AI algorithms to match a user’s concept against the real-world track record of companies that came before and flag potential risks.
How the service works
The platform operates in three main steps:
- Input: The user describes the core idea and key features of their startup.
- Finding analogs: The AI scans a database and finds companies that built similar features or concepts.
- History analysis: The algorithm examines the lifecycle of those projects, their key mistakes, and the official reasons they shut down.
What users get
After the analysis, DejaView generates a detailed report that includes:
- Potential reasons the idea might fail in the market.
- A breakdown of mistakes predecessors made when launching similar products.
- Recommendations to help avoid repeating the same pitfalls and bad decisions.
