A new web service called DejaView has launched, designed to stress-test startup ideas. The tool uses artificial intelligence algorithms to compare a user’s concept with the real-world experience of previously existing companies and warn about potential risks.
How the service works
The platform’s workflow is built on three main stages:
- Data input: The user describes the essence and key features of their startup idea.
- Analog search: AI analyzes the database to find companies that implemented similar functionality or concepts.
- History analysis: The algorithm studies the lifecycle of the identified projects, their key mistakes, and the official reasons for their closure.
What the user gets
Following the analysis, DejaView generates a detailed report that includes:
- Potential reasons why the idea might not work in the market.
- A breakdown of mistakes made by predecessors when launching similar products.
- Recommendations to help avoid repeating past mistakes and making poor decisions.
