TORRAS Case Maker Reveals iPhone 18 Pro Colors: Dark Cherry and A20 Pro Chip

Accessory maker TORRAS has prematurely published cases for the iPhone 18 Pro in its catalog, revealing the likely design and new finish options for Apple’s flagship. The marketing images show the phone in a deep dark cherry color called Dark Cherry and a light blue variant Light Blue, matching months of supply chain leaks.
Four Colors and Pantone References
The Pro lineup’s color palette traditionally gets refreshed every year. According to a Macworld report, Apple has prepared four key shades for the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max:
- Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076) — a complex deep hue blending burgundy, plum, and dark red, replacing the bright Cosmic Orange;
- Light Blue (Pantone 2121) — a pastel gray-blue shade;
- Dark Gray (Pantone 426C) — a subdued graphite option;
- Silver (Pantone 427C) — classic titanium silver.
The TORRAS case images serve as another indirect confirmation of the palette. However, experts note that accessory makers receive precise CAD drawings and button placements from factories well in advance, but the device’s color in the images inside the case remains a preliminary marketing render.
Specs: First 2nm Chip, the A20 Pro
According to MacRumors’ latest roundup, the 18 Pro lineup will get one of the most significant hardware upgrades in recent years:
- Processor: debut of the Apple A20 Pro, built on TSMC’s latest 2nm process;
- Displays: screen sizes remain at 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max, but engineers will shrink the Dynamic Island cutout;
- Connectivity: integration of Apple’s own C2 5G modem;
- Cameras: the main sensor may feature a mechanically adjustable variable aperture lens for challenging lighting conditions.
Staggered Release and September 9 Event Date
The biggest surprise this year will be a change to the usual announcement schedule. According to insiders, Apple will split the lineup into two phases for the first time:
- September 2026: premiere of the premium iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company’s first-ever foldable iPhone;
- Spring 2027: release of the base consumer models iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e.
Apple has already sent out invitations for its traditional fall event under the slogan Surprise and Shine, scheduled for September 9. The live stream will be available on Apple’s official website and in the Apple TV app.
