Kia has announced official pricing and range specifications for the 2027 Kia EV3 compact electric crossover. According to Electrek, sales start with the base Light trim at $29,890, and EPA range for versions with the larger battery reaches 321 miles (about 516 km).

The EV is built on the E-GMP architecture and is available in five trims: Light, Wind, Land, GT-Line, and GT. The base Light FWD comes with a 58.3 kWh battery and a range of 221 miles (355 km). Versions with the 81.4 kWh battery deliver up to 321 miles with front-wheel drive and up to 280 miles (450 km) with all-wheel drive. AWD is available as a $3,200 option or comes standard on the top trims.

Front-wheel-drive models feature a single electric motor producing 201 hp, all-wheel-drive versions have a combined 261 hp, and the sporty GT trim delivers up to 288 hp. Fast DC charging from 10% to 80% takes 29 minutes with the base battery, and for the North American market, the car comes with a built-in NACS port, allowing connection to Tesla Supercharger stations without adapters.

Inside, there’s a single display panel with a combined diagonal of nearly 30 inches, integrating a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a 5-inch climate control unit. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, i-Pedal 3.0 one-pedal driving, V2L bidirectional charging support, and Smart Cruise Control.
