Google hosts Made by Google event: Pixel 11 flagships, foldable Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Tag

At the Made by Google event, the company unveiled a major update to its hardware ecosystem. The lineup has expanded with four Pixel 11 series smartphones powered by the Tensor G6 processor, the Pixel Watch 5 with life-saving features, the Pixel Tag tracker, and an update for the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
Smartphone lineup: Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL
The base Pixel 11 has dropped the 128GB configuration and now starts at 256GB of storage. The phone features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a 4,985 mAh battery, 7 years of OS updates, and 25W Qi2.2 Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging.

The flagship Pixel 11 Pro (6.3-inch) and Pixel 11 Pro XL (6.8-inch) are equipped with LTPO OLED displays reaching up to 3,600 nits of brightness and a new HiLight LED indicator system on the camera bump, which changes color based on notifications and Gemini AI reactions. The main 50MP sensor captures 32% more light, while the 48MP telephoto lens provides 5x optical and 120x hybrid Pro Zoom with AI processing.

Foldable flagship: Pixel 11 Pro Fold
The foldable model is 1mm thinner and 10% lighter than its predecessor, featuring an IP68-rated body and a reinforced hinge mechanism. The outer display measures 6.5 inches, while the inner one is 8 inches (both with 3,600 nits brightness and ultra-thin bezels). Inside, it packs a Tensor G6 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 4,806 mAh battery.

Pixel Watch 5, Pixel Tag, and earbuds
The Pixel Watch 5 runs on the new Google Health platform and introduces Breathing Emergency Detection: if the device detects breathing cessation during sleep or a medical episode, it automatically calls emergency services and shares your coordinates. The watch also features dual-frequency GPS and is optimized for local Gemini AI processing.
The Pixel Tag tracker is designed for the Find Hub network. It supports Bluetooth Channel Sounding and UWB for centimeter-level indoor precision, is IP67 water-resistant, and runs on a CR2032 battery for over a year.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds have received a new Olive colorway to match the smartphones and a September firmware update with AI-enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
